Chart notes
HIGHLY WICKED got over to the rail before the first turn, settled well behind the pace while traveling well, made a quick three wide move to gain contention on the far turn, bid three wide into the stretch, found a reslient TOMMIE G tough to get by but finally wore that rival down late in the stretch and prevailed under strong handling. GRABIQ got off to an awkward start and steadied after the break, then was in the back half of the field early on, having to be coaxed along to maintain position, bid in earnest from the three furlong pole, came five wide into the stretch with a lot of momentum, produced a bold rally, was gaining on the eventual winner but came up short. TOMMIE G seized the lead turning onto the backstretch, led the field into the far turn then dug in when challenged by HIGHLY WICKED passing the quarter pole, then gave way grudgingly in the final furlong. JET ROCKET took back after the break, settled near the rear through the early stages then started to run on from the three furlong pole, went three wide on the far turn then four wide into the stretch, was behind a wall of horses then swung to the five path in the final furlong and improved in the final yards. FOR HARPER allowed to settle, raced near the back through the first half-mile then begain a steady run through the far turn and into the stretch, finished with some late interest but could not produce a winning kick in the late stages. NODAH settled well back, tracked two to three wide throughout, bid five wide into the stretch but was not good enough. CLEARLY A TEST was always close up but three to four wide, made a menacing move late on the far turn then flattened out in the stretch. SWEET DARLIN tracked close up inside then tired in the stretch. WONDERRAND was last early, dropped far behind then rallied past a couple of tired foes in the stretch. RUSTY'S SUNRISE tracked in mid-pack then was outrun in the late stages. RUE LALA tried to go with TOMMIE G through the early stages, gave way on the far turn and faded.
