Chart notes
WARRIOR'S JUSTICE broke sharply, went to the front and dictated the early fractions under a bit of restraint, quickened approaching the three-furlong pole, was still traveling well approaching the stretch, finished up well under steady handling and urging, and held a rival safe to the finish. KALIL three wide into first turn, stalked WARRIOR'S JUSTICE down the backstretch, moved up to challenge for the lead from the five-sixteenths marker but could not get by that rival in the stretch. LOLA AND ROSE raced in the middle of the pack and lacked a winning kick. CC COLA lacked speed from the break, was under a drive still far behind on the last turn and tried to rally but did not respond. CANAL STREET was last and three wide into the first turn, moved closer late on the first turn to be close up for the backstretch run, bid four wide from the quarter pole but lacked a response and was unable to factor in the outcome.
