Chart notes
HOT ROD KITTY raced close up to the early pace while three deep, bid three wide nearing the quarter marker then battled SAMS AFTER PARTY into upper stretch, dueled while on the left lead past the furlong marker, wore down SAMS AFTER PARTY in the final sixteenth and got up in time for a determined win. SAMS AFTER PARTY hustled for the early lead, set a contested pace to the turn, met the bid of HOT ROD KITTY into upper stretch, held that foe at bay to the furlong marker, dueled gamely to the final sixteenth and was bested for the win in the final strides, while well clear of the rest for second. NICOLE'S WILL pressed the early pace from outside of SAMS AFTER PARTY, dueled into the turn then vied for the lead two wide and between foes at the quarter pole, lost position into upper stretch, chased the leading pair through the final furlong and held safely for third. EXTRASEXYMCSTEEMEE was off slowly, recovered and chased the pace three to four wide into the turn, could not keep pace into the stretch and weakened in the drive. CHILLING TIME settled while saving ground and did not offer a late rally.
