Chart notes
TRES CORONAS broke alertly, assumed command and set a prompted pace to the turn, shook free nearing the quarter marker then drew off while in hand into upper stretch, was kept to task into the final sixteenth then was ridden out in the late stages and won as much the best. MAXIMUS CAT close up to the early pace, prompted from the inside heading to the turn, shifted off of the rail and chased TRES CORONAS three wide into the lane, was no match for the winner into the final furlong and held well late for the place. INSURMOUNTABLE tracked from the inside heading to the turn, saved ground into the stretch, kept on through the lane and outfinished SKELLIG MICHAEL for the show. SKELLIG MICHAEL tracked from the inside, shifted off of the rail then angled three to four wide into upper stretch, weakened in the stretch drive and was outfinished for the show honors. PICO PLAT unhurried to the turn, swung five wide for the stretch drive then failed to threaten. LADY BACKTALK settled off of the early pace, raced a bit in tight while between foes along the turn then did not factor in the stretch. R WINCHESTER chased two then three wide into the turn, spun three to four wide for the stretch drive and came up empty in the late stages. COMMENDATORE showed brief early speed while between runners then gave way.
