Chart notes
CAMPTOWN LADY broke sharply and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, controlled the pace in the run down the backstretch, repelled a bid by NU BLEND leaving the final turn, and drew clear in the lane as much the best. NU BLEND away well and tracked the pacesetter into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, rallied smartly two wide through the final turn to loom a danger leaving the turn, but was unable to sustain her bid late while proving easily second best. NOZOMI away alertly and stalked the leader into the backstretch while saving ground at the rail, commenced her bid two wide entering the final turn, and finished from along the rail in the drive to prove best of the rest. MYGIRLLILLY settled off the early pace while racing one out from the rail entering the backside, rallied two wide entering the final turn, but failed to make a late impact when called upon. BELLE JOI unhurried early while trailing the field into the backstretch while racing four wide, angled in approaching the final turn, rallied two out from the rail entering the turn, but failed to menace. CHABI settled well off the early pace while saving ground at the rail, was always well back and showed little.
