Chart notes

FREDDY J tracked the top trio sitting a couple paths off the inside, given cue four wide leaving the turn, advanced to duel outside of ROCKIN BOOTS mid-stretch, raced heads apart approaching the wire and got a nose up to prevail. ROCKIN BOOTS was forwardly placed in the opening quarter, let out a notch and vied three wide around the turn, continued to battle for command in the upper stretch, dug in gamely, took a slim lead, battled heads apart with FREDDY J in late stretch and got nipped on the wire. PREACHER MAN SAM pressed the pace going by the half mile marker, vied inside a duo around the turn, fought on gamely inside past the furlong marker then yielded late. NATIVE HELLRAISER settled along the rail while too far back in the opening quarter, flattened around the turn, shifted to the six path for a clear path at the top of the lane, closed with good response but was too late for serious impact. STROLLIN NORMAN B rated while not too far back in the early going, made a move five wide leaving the turn, steadied slightly at the head of the lane, drifted in a couple paths, came under firm left handed pressure and ran on evenly. ROWDY RAY pressed the early pace, vied between rivals around the turn then came up empty mid-stretch.
