Chart notes
FORT WARREN sped to the lead at the start and led the way around the first turn, saved ground and continued to dictate the pace up the backstretch, held firm while confidently handled over close pursuers mid-way around the far turn, came two wide into the upper stretch, widened advantage, came under right handed pressure, responded willingly and pulled away. MONEY IN MOTION steadied repeatedly around the first turn and continued to steady along through the early backstretch, got out to the three path and raced in a compact flight past the half mile marker, was ridden along four wide late on the far turn, sustained bid into the stretch and gained second best. ICE AGAIN was forwardly placed around the first turn, continued up close stalking the pacesetter up the backstretch, was ridden along two wide around the final turn, sustained two wide bid into stretch run and out-dueled rival for show. DOUBLECHECK raced up close along the rail around the first turn, stayed inside and tracked the pace in a compact flight going by the half, ridden along the rail late on the far turn, sustained bid into the lane and got edged late for show. SPANISH KISS was forwardly placed through early stages, raced three wide in striking distance mid-way around the final turn then failed to sustain bid in the lane. EZ FITZ raced four to five wide entering the first turn, was not far back going by the half mile marker, weakened around the far turn, continued to tire in the drive and jogged in.
