Chart notes
NOTORIOUS GANGSTER bumped a rival at the start, settled in behind the pace shifting in, saved ground on the turn, tipped out a bit in upper stretch with aim on the leader, steadily ground on in the lane and edged past late. REGAL GUEST soon led, set the pace from just off the rail, was clear leading them into upper stretch but was outfinished and second best. DEWOLF dropped back off the leader and switched outside of that one heading up the backstretch, was within range three wide coming past the quarter pole, lacked the needed late kick. LUCKY GUEST was bumped into a rival at the start, allowed to settle, went four to five wide on the turn fanning eight deep into upper stretch, ran on late but needed more. MANSETTI was bumped and nearly lost the rider at the start, recovered and made a swift advance outside heading to the turn, went four wide on that bend, floated out a few paths turning for home, had no extra. FLIRTING WITH FIRE was outpaced, dropped back on the turn and failed to menace. FORTY N FIVE steadied slightly nearing the five-eighths dropping back off the pace, continued to chase from off the inside, failed to rally.
