Chart notes
EL CHISPAZO prompted the pace down the backside, failed to gain on the pacesetter in the turn despite early encouragement, was steadily persevered with while trying to lug-in down the lane, continued to cut into the leader's margin and wore that one down in deep stretch to be pulling clear late. NONE THE WISER broke alertly to take control from the gate, set a well rated pace, edged clear from the five-sixteenths pole to mid-stretch and weakened in the final eighth giving way to the winner late. SECRET FORTUNE reared at the start nearly unseating the rider giving the field a significant head start, made steady progress under patient handling down the backside, was called upon early on the turn to make a four wide rally and closed ground in the lane in a valiant effort having been severely compromised at the start. SHOOT THE WAVES tracked the leaders to the turn and failed to mount a closing bid going evenly. LIBRARY reserved at the back of the main body of the field and failed to respond when called upon leaving the three-eighths pole. STARSHIP LEGACY stalked the pace into the turn to be well placed and faded coming home.
