Chart notes
MR. COLOSSAL stalked the pace from four wide down the backstretch after moving to position leaving the first turn, rallied four wide on the far turn, engaged the leader midway down the lane and pulled clear late in the drive. AND THATS MY STORY circled four wide on the first turn to take the lead, set a well rated pace, responded when called upon turning for home and gave way to the winner grudgingly through the stretch drive. CRACKING CONNOR unhurried early to be at the back of the compact field, circled six wide coming for home and was gaining ground while grinding through the lane. KY THIRTY WON made a steady advance from the back of the field nearing the half mile pole to be prominently palced turning for home, loomed to mid-stretch and flattened out late unable to sustain the bid. THE FED'S PLOT tracked the leaders to the far turn and faded from contention coming home. SOCK IT TO ME prompted the pace for five-eighths and tired on the final bend giving way in the stretch.
