POPPY THE PRINCESS vied two wide and between horses, then only with her inner counterpart down the backstretch before an outer bidder joined the fray around the far turn, led narrowly turning for home, shook free while drifting out to the three to four path in midstretch, leaned back inwardly while inching clear into the final sixteenth, flopped back to her left lead and held sway. CHA CHA CHUKKA vied for the lead with an outer pair early on, then only with the eventual winner down the backstretch, continued to spar as an outer bidder made it three across again around the far turn, failed to sustain pressure in upper stretch, yet kept on to duel for place through the final furlong and prevailed. BREAD TO RUN pursued from midpack in the five to four path around the first turn, progressed four deep approaching the far turn, bid outside of the embattled leading pair at the three furlong pole, vied turning for home, but was turned away while getting floated out to the five path in midstretch, kept on to spar for place through the final furlong but missed. AVISO stalked three to two wide and between horses around the first turn, chased while getting floated to the five path entering the lane and ran on evenly. LA SCALONETA tracked along the inside, chased while shifting out from the two path to the four path into the lane, but lacked a bid and tired. FREAK CITY broke a step slow, laid off of the pace along the inside, took the far turn in the three path before moving back to the inside in upper stretch, and failed to factor. CAVATELLI prompted four to three wide around the first turn, chased the top pair down the backstretch, then weakened around the far turn and was eased through the lane.
