Chart notes
NASH was brushed by an outer rival soon after the start, pursued the hot pace from midpack in the two path, crept closer in the four path around the turn, took aim on the clearing leader entering the lane, ranged up to bid passing the furlong grounds, sparred while pulling further away from the rest in the final furlong and narrowly prevailed. HARRODSBURG was sent forward early on, showed the way via a fast pace around the turn, shook clear nearing the lane, dug in as an outer bidder challenged in midstretch, battled gamely through the closing stages but got nailed at the wire. DISCREET MISCHIEF broke outwardly, trailed in the four path before moving to the inside into teh turn, shifted to the three path into the lane, tipped further out while staying on and moved up while no threat to the top pair. MAJOR BLUE brushed an inner rival shortly after the start, raced off of the pace in the three path, took the turn in the five to four path, shifted inwardly in midstretch and improved position. DONCHO pressed outside of the leader while forcing a fast pace into and around the turn, failed to sustain pressure nearing the lane, yielded in upper stretch and weakened thereafter. RED STATE raced forwardly three wide while close to hot early fractions, tucked to stalk along the inside into the turn, chased into the lane and weakened.
