WHAT A DUDE was allowed to settle, moved up to join SMILING GOODBYE nearing the quarter pole, took the lead entering the drifted in nearing the eighth pole and gradually drew clear. SMILING GOODBYE stalked TRAVEL THE MAP while racing two-wide, moved up to take the lead nearing the quarter pole, responded when headed then altered course to the outside nearing the eighth pole when WHAT A DUDE came in and finished well for second in a strong effort. RICH GOLD was allowed to settle while racing three-wide and finished in a mild rally. TRAVEL THE MAP saved ground while setting the pace nearing the quarter pole and weakened. HOWDOYALIKEMENOW was reserved off the pace, moved up four-wide nearing the quarter pole and then flattened out during the drive. HEY BATMAN was forwardly placed racing along the inside and tired. ENOS SLAUGHTER was four-wide on the first turn then dropped back and failed to seriously threaten. ABRAAJ MIRAGE was unhurried while racing three-wide and failed to be a factor.
