Chart notes
QUINNSALTYOFFICER broke well and was up in the early pace battle, took command heading into the turn and built a two to three length lead coming out of the turn, kept on well in the stretch and held THAT'S APRIORITY safe to the finish. THAT'S APRIORITY contested the early pace then was sent after QUINNSALTYOFFICER midway three-wide on the turn, chased gamely but would not reel in that foe in the stretch. HES THE BOMB TOO was close up early then dropped back to a tracking position through the turn, kept on under steady handling to rally into the third spot. CADILLAC BO broke well and vied inside in the early pace battle, chased QUINNSALTYOFFICER through the turn while holding the rail position, finished evenly under urging but could not produce a winning kick. CLOSING AGENT broke a step slow, rushed to be close up with the leaders in the initial stages, took up sharply just past the seven-sixteenths pole, continued three-wide around the turn and finished evenly. MR. BRAD'S COWBOY was briefly up with the pace battle but dropped out before the turn the was outrun in the latter stages. WAY TOO TOUGH was slow into stride and trailed early despite the best efforts of the rider, came four wide into the stretch but did not regain contact with the field until the finish. SEVERUS SQUALL got an awkward start then was off poorly then tried to circle the field on the turn, came under heavy pressure passing the quarter pole but did not have response and faded in the stretch while racing on the wrong lead. SWAMP POP broke outward and made contact with MR. BRAD'S COWBOY, lacked speed from the break and chased the main pack through the early stages, got a rail run through the turn but had little to offer in the stretch.
