Chart notes
CASPIAN WIND settled just off the initial pace then vied between horses through the turn, put a head in front in upper stretch and went clear under a drive. NOT BEHAVIN vied three wide through the turn, could not go on with the winner at the top of the stretch but kept on well to be a clear second. RED BARRON had good speed from the start, put a head in front before the half, then vied inside a pair of rivals through the turn, tried to battle back in upper stretch but weakened and was outfinished in the final furlong. JAMESY'S EMPIRE settled near the back then put in a late run under strong handling but was not a serious threat. GLORYLAND BAND was outrun through the early stages, then dropped far behind, went very wide on the last turn, and was not persevered with when hopelessly behind. ZONG'S TO BLAME broke best and went to the front, was overtaken at the three-furlong pole, and stopped.
