WILLIAM GUSTAVO broke well but ceded the front to the dueling leaders, tracked close up inside in the second flight, slipped through an opening at the three-sixteenths and took a short lead, held off THE SPEEDY ONE through the stretch and prevailed. THE SPEEDY ONE broke well then tracked behind the dueling leaders, bid for the lead in upper stretch, had aim on the eventual winner and every chance to get by but failed to change leads and hung. STEAUXLIT settled mid-pack down the backstretch, launched a bid leaving the three furlong pole, had a lot of ground to make up but finished willingly to gain the third spot. HEARTTHROB HALO lost the path at the start when FOUR DICE came over at the break, was three wide in the second flight, was unable to quicken to the leaders but kept on well under steady handling. FOUR DICE broke outward at the start into the path of HEARTTHROB HALO, settled near the back, three to four wide, rallied late to improve. FLASHY PREMO raced well off the pace through the early stages then finished up well but much too late to make an impact. HALF MAGIC broke awkwardly and was last away, got an inside run through the turn then finished will good energy up the rail but was too late. BET AGAIN tracked up close in the early stages, finished one-paced late. FIFTEEN LOVE BACK lost footing at the break, then lacked speed and was last going into the turn, kept to the inside and managed to pass a couple of rivals in the stretch. LOVELY SASSICAIA sprinted to the front, soon joined by WHISKEY AND EASY, dueled through the turn, came under a ride passing the quarter pole then gave way in mid-stretch. WHISKEY AND EASY broke sharply and hustled to the front, dueled outside of LOVELY SASSICAIA to the stretch and gave way. TRAELEE was mid-pack down the backstretch, was under a drive passing the three furlong pole, lacked a response and faded to last.
