Chart notes
BESKAR was reserved off the pace from along the inside, slipped through entering the stretch, caught the leaders nearing the eighth pole and then was fully extended to prevail. MONGOLIAN SPRING was unhurried early, came four-wide into the stretch, split rivals during the drive, came in nearing the eighth pole carrying RIMROCK LAKE into the path of SENOR DEK CAPO and finished strongly when straightened. BEER BEGONE was prominently placed early while racing two-wide, moved up four-wide nearing the quarter pole, gained a slight lead nearing the eighth pole but lacked the needed late response. STAY LIT raced in the back to the field early, rallied five-wide into the stretch and improved his position. RIMROCK LAKE vied for the lead with ICE TOWER while racing two-wide, came three-wide into the stretch, was carried in by MONGOLIAN SPRING nearing the eighth pole taking the path of SENOR DEL CAMPO and weakened. ICE TOWER vied for the lead while racing three-wide, came five-wide into the stretch and tired. SENOR DEL CAMPO hopped at the start then moved up along the inside to track the pace, joined the leaders nearing the half mile pole, vied for the lead into the stretch, stumbled and unseated his rider when RIMROCK LAKE was carried in front of him and then was walked off following the race. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS INQUIRY AND AN OBJECTION MONGOLIAN SPRING WAS DISQUALLIFED FROM SECOND AND PLACED SIXTH.
