CRAFTY PRINCE got away well, dueled inside of HE'S A REAL OUTFIT, then joined by SWEET CANDY BOY through the turn, edged ahead at the top of the stretch, then responded to strong handling and urging, and drew clear in deep stretch. WEDDING GIFT was hustled from the break to get forward position, tracked mid-pack down the backstretch, went into a stiff drive with about three furlongs to run, tipped five wide into the stretch, and finished up well still under strong handling and urging to gain the place. STANLEY LITTLE BOY lost footing at the break then ducked out sharply into BITSY'S STAR, gathered up to race mid-pack down the backstretch, was being coaxed at the half but did not respond, was steered out about eight wide into the stretch and found a second wind, rallied to gain third. HARD KINGS broke well but lacked the speed to keep up early, dropped to the back before the turn, started to run on midway through the turn, then came seven wide into the stretch and finished up well under steady handling. MO CAN DO settled near the back early, kept to the inside through the turn while maintaining a steady gait, kept on through the stretch on an even pace. SWEET CANDY BOY raced close up to the pace down the backstretch, then drew even with the leaders at the half, vied three wide through the turn, was unable to go with CRAFTY PRINCE from the quarter pole, then weakened in the stretch. PRINCE LIAM raced inside in the middle of the main pack, was under a drive from the three furlong pole but did not respond to the urgings of the rider and finished evenly in the stretch. WHATDIDWEDO was climbing while trailing the field in the early stages, circled the field four wide on the turn, came six wide into the stretch and went one-paced in the late stages. LUCKY BOURBON was slow into stride from the break, advanced up the rail to gain contention by the turn, launched a bid from the three furlong pole, loomed a threat in mid-stretch, then tired late. HE'S A REAL OUTFIT made the lead from the break, got some early pressure from CRAFTY PRINCE on the inside through the early stages, vied between horses on the turn, then dropped out passing the five-sixteenths marker, and faltered in the stretch. BITSY'S STAR was forced out wide at the start but still managed to stalk the pace four wide down the backstretch, came under a ride passing the three-furlong pole and had nothing to offer in the stretch.
