BISHOPS BAY vied two wide for the lead, dueled heads apart on the backside and far turn, took over nearing the quarter pole, responded when roused, drew clear in upper stretch and widened under urging. NELSON AVENUE vied inside for the lead, dueled on the backside and far turn, angled out behind the winner at the top of the stretch, dug in gamely and finished well for second. SURFACE TO AIR raced off the pace inside, chased inside on the far turn and rallied inside for third. AWESOME RUTA stalked two or three wide, bid three wide on the far turn and weakened. TUSCAN SKY steadied at the start, raced off the pace inside and failed to respond. TRADEMARK tracked close up early on the inside, then between rivals, chased two wide on the far turn and faded.
