Chart notes

REDISTRICTING (GB) set the pace on the inside, was pressed along on the backside, shook free on his own nearing the quarter pole, responded willingly when set down, kicked away and was ridden out. OTAGO tracked close up on the inside, continued to track while saving ground on the far turn, angled out at the top of the lane, finished well but second best. ATLAST (FR) bobbled a bit at the break, raced off the pace with an inside trip, steadied slightly entering the far turn, moved up and rallied mildly on the rail. SIGNATOR trailed the field early on, then raced two wide off the pace, chased three wide on the far turn and weakened. HIGHESTDISTINCTION stalked close up three wide, chased entering the far turn, made a mild bid and weakened in the stretch. IZZY D'ORO pressed the pace racing two wide, chased between rivals and gave way on the far turn.
