Chart notes
SKALKAHO grabbed a slim lead shortly after the start and set the early pace, raced under pressure MC COUGAR then edged away and held clear still unleashed late on the turn, saved ground entering the upper stretch, roused for more, responded gamely and pulled away. MACHO FORTY FIVE came away in good order and remained forwardly placed just off the top pair leader, hustled along three wide going by the quarter pole, sustained a steady bid down the lane and cleared second best. JUSTASTROLLIN tracked the top trio up the backstretch, was ridden along four wide mid-way around the turn, ran on into the lane and nipped foe to take show. MILTON STREET sat off the early pace, saved ground around the turn, hustled along the inside at the head of the lane and narrowly missed show. TEMPLE CITY RUN was reserved racing in the back, was ridden along two wide past the furlong marker and lacked a needed rally. MC COUGAR pressed the pace in opening stages, remained in striking distance into the turn, failed to reach the eventual winner and steadily weakened down the lane.
