Chart notes
BIKINI BOTTOM steadied in the initial stages then was always close up inside behind the leaders, took advantage of an opening along the rail at the quarter pole, surged to the lead and won well clear under steady handling and intermittent urging. BEAUTIFUL JANET settled mid-pack three-wide, then launched a bid before the three furlong pole, came four wide into the stretch and finished willingly but was not match for the winner. FRET NO MORE vied/dueled for the lead on the inside, took the lead going into the turn but left the rail open for BIKINI BOTTOM to slip through, chased that rival into the stretch but was outfinished. DOUBLE CUTE was not asked for early speed and settled near the rear of the field, got over to the rail before the turn, got an inside run to the stretch, finished evenly under strong handling and urging, but was unable to crack the top three. SHEER LUCK was mid-pack three wide, advanced into contention on the turn, then flattened out in the stretch. LITTLE BIT O STORM contested the early pace from between horses, weakened at the quarter pole, and had little left for the stretch run. MERRILY RUSH was off slowly, raced near the back and never threatened. MALLORY'S OCEAN pressed the pace three wide down the backstretch, was still with a chance turning for home but tired.
