JEST FUNNY bumped repeatedly with the runner up after the start, moved up to press the pace into and through the first turn, dueled outside the early leader into the far turn, put a head in front nearing the furlong marker, edged clear through the lane under steady handling. COUNTY JUDGE bumped with the winner at the break, settled behind that one and the early leader while off the inside, asked for run midway on the final turn, up late for the place while not a serious threat for the win. BARREL THIEF broke running, showed the way past the wire the first time, set a pressured pace through the first turn, dueled into the far bend, blinked first late in that turn inside the winner, continued to gradually weaken and was caught late for the place. MAJOR GRIFFIN lacked speed, moved outside, turned in an even effort without seriously threatening. SHAGGY EDGE trailed early, also lacked a serious closing response. KYEMBEA finished early, well back. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
