Chart notes
STRONGER TOGETHER grabbed command soon after the start then went clear around the first turn, secured the inside and set a rated pace, was joined by a pair of outer foes entering the far turn, lost command while dueling under pressure leaving the three eighths, dropped back a bit near the quarter pole then altered out three to four wide soon into the stretch, determinedly came back on under left handed encouragement, regained command with about a sixteenth to go then drew away. ROTARY DIAL eased out around the first turn and prompted the pace two wide and well in hand, moved to engage STRONGER TOGETHER leaving the half mile marker, gained a slim lead under a ride and between foes past the three eighths, shifted closer to the rail and shook clear in upper stretch, kept on with effort but was no match in the final sixteenth. FIRST MASAMUNE , three wide stalking the pace, moved up and bid three deep around the far turn, pressed the pace outside ROTARY DIAL into the lane, stayed on willingly while chasing past the furlong grounds, switched over to his left lead late and faded. DAPPER DUDE broke a beat slow, saved ground through the backstretch while in range, angled out and was under a ride leaving the far turn, failed to kick on past the five sixteenths and weakened.
