Chart notes
SHIP IT got away well, ceded the lead shortly after to stalk, advanced willingly on the turn to take the lead at the five-sixteenths, moved clear by the quarter pole, was mildly challenged in mid-stretch turning back that foe and kept on to hold sway. BLAZE BEAUTY shifted in late up the backstretch, saved some ground early on the turn before gradually moving out, fanned eight to nine wide for the drive, was gaining late to get up for place. TORTUGA ISLAND settled into stride then steadily advanced heading into the turn, went four wide through the turn getting to within striking distance by the quarter pole but could not make further headway and lost place late. MISS TENA MARIE was a bit keen up th backstretch racing off the inside, continued well back of the leaders in the two to three path through the turn, failed to menace but improved position. JAMAICAN TRAFFIC settled inside at the rear, switched out at the half racing off the rail about three wide into the turn ,swung nine wide into upper stretch, altered inside a rival at that juncture, was not a threat. BE MY BESTIE was urged from the start taking the lead after the opening furlong, set the pace from off the rail, went in the two path through the turn, was overtaken on that bend, gave way in upper stretch.
