Chart notes
TRICKY MOMENT set the pace from off the rail, was challenged late on the far turn, headed by upper stretch, dug in to duel through the lane and was resurgent to get up near the wire. GOLDEN BUCK was a bit keen early and taken back and switched out to stalk the leader from outside rather than inside, moved on that one to bid at the quarter pole, had a narrow lead through upper stretch but found a game competitor and was outfinished. CROWN ROYAL KID chased from off the inside four to six wide, secured show honors but was no match for the top pair. CUTADAY was caught outside runners into the turn racing five to six wide, came into stretch deeper racing about eight wide and failed to menace. DURANGO CHROME raced off the pace and off the inside going mostly three to four wide, was never a threat. FLASH CADILLAC saved ground but was never near enough to threaten.
