Chart notes
GOLD SMOKE tucked in settling off the pace racing in the two to three path early, advanced outside a foe early on the far turn, was guided nearer inward leaving that bend cutting the corner into upper stretch with room up the inside, bid in mid-stretch taking the lead outside the sixteenth pole, moved clear and held while being kept to the task. CATEGORY TEN pressed from the outset, moved a narrow lead about the nine-sixteenths, was challenged by an outside foe while racing off the fence, turned that one away to be clear coming into upper stretch but was outkicked. BOOGIE BODE was caught five wide entering the first turn racing just off the pace but soon dropping back and tucking in a path, moved back out coming out of that bend, stalked from outside up the backstretch, was encouraged along past the five-sixteenths still racing four to five deep, kept on evenly in the lane, was no match for the top pair but captured show honors. WHAT A COUNTRY settled outside at the back, moved out further for the run up the backstretch, went five to six wide on the far turn still with much to do, was one-paced in the lane. RUNNINGFORCASH stalked the leading pair from off the inside, moved to bid coming past the three-eighths, couldn't quite get even, floated out a bit leaving the far turn, lacked the needed late kick and weakened in the lane. SEMINOLE BEACH saved ground inside at the rear through the first turn, switched out heading up the backstretch going three deep into the far turn, gradually fanned out through that bend coming to the top of the stretch nin wide, failed to menace. GLOBAL EMPIRE set a pressured pace inside, steadily retreated from the seven-sixteenths.
