COUNTERACT away well and stalked the contested early pace while saving ground along the inside entering the backstretch, settled well off the pacesetters in the run down the backside, rallied along the rail entering the final turn, and closed determinedly three wide in the drive to get up in time. WHAT'S SHAKIN settled at the back of the pack while racing one out from the rail entering the backstretch, launched his bid three wide entering the final turn, and finished best of all four wide in the drive to get up for the place. SET TO SHINE broke sharply and pressed the pace from the outside of STANFORD BAY entering the first turn, assumed command entering the backstretch and quickly crossed over to the rail, maintained his lead through the final turn and into the lane, but was unable to fend off the closers late while settling for a share. STANFORD BAY away alertly and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, was overtaken soon after entering the backstretch and eased of the leader, chased the leader two wide through the final turn, but was outfinished in the late stages. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
