Chart notes
LOVIN' ON THE RUN followed in range from off the rail, took the turn two, three, then four wide, bid inside OVETA'S HOBBY past the three-sixteenths pole, dueled in the final furlong and dug in gamely to edge the runner-up. OVETA'S HOBBY pressed three deep up the backstretch, moved up on even terms on the turn, took over at the five-sixteenths pole, led five wide into the stretch, met the bid from LOVIN' ON THE RUN, fought head to head in the furlong grounds, battled gamely to the wire but came up short in the end. IN THE AIR TONIGHT tracked three wide into the turn, angled out and bid six wide into the lane but was no match for the top pair in the late stages. RUNNING SUPER raced up close from inside, lacked room around the bend, trailed two wide into the stretch and failed to rally once in the clear. QUANTUM INNERGY trailed on the inside into the turn, angled out while gaining around the bend, came seven wide into the stretch and weakened. MO PEARLS PLEASE dueled from outside, vied between rivals on the turn, yielded past the five-sixteenths pole and gave way. ONLY ONE AMERICA dueled inside MO PEARLS PLEASE in the early going, fought with outer pair to the five-sixteenths pole and folded.
