MAJOR MISCHIEF unhurried early to be the trailer, circled four wide following the move of the runner-up on the far turn, tipped out to the five path at the top of the lane, rallied well in the lane, was held off the runner-up while attempting to lug-in down the lane and was up in time in a well handled, confident ride. THE FED'S PLOT was taken in hand away from the gate to be the early trailer, angled out four wide to the clear on the first trun, continued to track the leaders from four wide to the final turn, rallied to engage the leaders at the five-sixteenths pole, chased the new leader down the lane determinedly and was outkicked by the winner in the final yards after having just made the lead in deep stretch. AND THATS MY STORY prompted the pace down the backstretch, moved to the leader midway on the far turn to take the lead, kicked clear in upper stretch, dug-in gamely down the lane and was outfinished in the final yards. COULD DO set a slow pace for the first five-eighths, responded when challenged midway on the turn, could not keep pace with his rivals and ran-on through the lane. ANALYST was well placed along the rail into the far turn, gained ground on the bend and finished evenly. BROMISTA tracked the leaders down the backstretch from between rivals, lost position on the turn dropping to the back of the field, swung out for the drive and faded in the lane unable to keep pace late.
