Chart notes
NEGRA GATA broke alertly to quickly go clear, set a well rated pace on a comfortable lead, responded when called upon and was never challenged throughout. VICOUNTESS reserved off the pace to race between rivals at the rear of the field, was put to an early drive on the turn, angled out to the clear to rally five wide and was up for the place late in the lane. ANGEL OF HARLEM stalked the loose pacesetter to upper stretch, failed to gain on that one and weakened in deep stretch to lose the place. MISS FOXANN was well placed along the inside tracking the leaders while saving all the ground without impact failing to mount a closing bid. KAGERO rallied three wide on the turn and flattened out turning for home unable to sustain the rally.
