Chart notes
PRINCESS FAVE saved ground while being allowed to settle, angled out to come two-wide into the stretch and wore down ABOVE THE ORDINARY in the final seventy yards. ABOVE THE ORDINARY saved ground setting the pace but was unable to resist the winner late while proving to be clearly second best in a game effort. MISS PERU was five-wide on the first turn then reserved off the pace, rallied four-wide into the stretch and was along for third without threatening the top two. PEG'S CHOICE was allowed to settle while racing two-wide, angled out to be three-wide nearing the quarter pole but lacked a rally. DREAM PAYNTER was four-wide on the first turn then raced in the ack of the field, came three-wide into the stretch and improved her position. SWEETLING saved ground early, came five-wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. MISTICAL CANDY saved ground chasing ABOVE THE ORDINARY early and weakened. TRICKLE settled in the middle of the field while racing two-wide and failed to menace. SECRET WILLOW was prominently placed early while racing three-wide, gave way after five furlongs and was eased up on in the late stages.
