Chart notes
DIVA BEACH seized the rail and the lead into the first turn, was being dogged by GRAND EMPRESS through the early stages and into the far turn, shook free of that rival at the quarter pole, then opened up and went unchallenged in the stretch. LADY STAR tracked mid-pack to the inside, the bid three wide into the stretch and finished up well to gain the place while never a threat to the winner. PERFECT DIXIE LADY broke out and bumped ALL STAR TROUT, then was unhurried, raced off the pace but not too far from the front down the backstretch, responded when set down with under three furlongs to run and finished up well to gain the third prize. GRAND EMPRESS pressed DIVA BEACH through the early stages while under a stiff hold, gave way at the quarter pole and tried to battle back but tired. ALL STAR TOUT took up sharply in traffic on the first turn and nearly lost the rider, bided time near the rear of the field then made a mild late run four wide into the stretch to improve. MALLORY UNBRIDLED tracked close up three wide and lacked a finish. SWEET THIRTEEN raced between horses in the middle of the pack, was losing ground while under a ride on the far turn, and lacked a rall in the stretch.
