Chart notes
DRAMA CHORUS sharply away from the gate to take command in the first strides, set a well rated pace in hand to the far turn, repelled the bid of SALINE RIVER on the far turn, kicked clear turning for home, dug-in gamely inside the sixteenth pole and just held at the line. FEARLESS SOLDIER unhurried early to be well off the pack for the first half mile, gained ground on the far turn traveling in the two path, angled out seven wide at the top of the lane and closed with a rush to miss by the shortest of noses on the wire. TONKA WARRIOR tracked the pacesetter from striking position into the final turn, made a steady advance through the lane and could not reel in the winner. KENNEBEC stalked the pace from the fence the entire way to be prominently placed turning for home and rallied through the lane while out-finished by the top trio. HALF BROTHER failed to menace. SALINE RIVER pressed the pace from four wide to the final bend, rallied to loom on the turn, failed to get passed the pacesetter and faded coming home.
