Chart notes
KIRBY KAYE vied inside of SUZZIE'S DARLIN around the first turn and up the backstretch, shook free mid-way around the far turn, hustled along two to three wide into upper stretch then took the inside position and remained well clear. SHABAM saved ground around the first turn, stalked the top flight inside up the backstretch, made a three wide move near the quarter pole, sustained bid into the lane, could not reach the eventual winner but sustained response and cleared second best. SLICK CITY GIRL lacked speed and trailed up the backstretch, continued reserved entering the far turn, saved ground turning for home and gained a share. COMFORTS JAZEL raced outside in the second flight up the backstretch, failed to progress when called upon around the final turn and gave way. TOM'S GIRL rated off the top two flights in the early going, had no response when urged around the final turn and never threatened. SUZZIE'S DARLIN vied outside of the eventual winner around the first turn and up the backstretch, could not move on with rival mid-way around the far turn and retreated.
