Chart notes
CART GIRL SAM prompted inside of the leader before taking back with a half mile to go, came under a strong hold between horses into the turn, moved out upon recovering and tracked from the four path turning for home, ranged up to bid along with an inner rival in upper stretch, dueled with that one through the final furlong and edged ahead late. FOXXY CLEOPATRA broke outwardly, stalked from the three path, then between horses turning for home, bid along with an outer rival in upper stretch, battled with that one through the final furlong but got bested. NIKI NINE DOORS tracked along the inside, committed to a rail charge in upper stretch, lacked room at the furlong grounds, yet slipped through shortly after, ran on to edge show and progressed belatedly. SATIN BLUE was off a bit awkwardly, laid off of the pace in the two path, shifted out to the four to five path in upper stretch, ran on between horses in the final furlong but was denied show. BLUE SQUALL pursued from midpack along the inside, shifted out three wide nearing the turn, got floated to the five path turning for home, chased in the five to six path in upper stretch and stayed on evenly. AFTERNOON DIVA sped clear early on, led near the inside, but was collared by an outer pair in upper stretch, yielded to them at the furlong grounds and faded between horses. TWIRL AROUND trailed in the two path and made little impact. ERVADEAN raced off of the pace in the four to three path and tired.
