Chart notes
RED MEMORYS saved ground setting the pace, responded when challenged by EL GOLOSO nearing the quarter pole and edged clear late. CHASIN A DOLLAR was carried out on the first turn when HUNTING FOR GOLD got out, then was allowed to settle, moved up between horses nearing the half mile pole, was three-wide at the quarter pole, angled in slightly then came out to brush with HUNTING FOR GOLD at the eight pole and finsihed well when ckear. HUNTING FOR GOLD got out on the first turn then moved up to prompt RED ,MEMORYS from along the outside, came four-wide into the stretch then came in to brush with CHASIN A DOLLAR at the eighth pole and finished well when straightened in a good try. EL GOLOSO was carried out slightly on the first turn by HUNTING FOR GOLD then was forwardly placed, moved up between horses to offer a bold bid and the quarter pole and then flattened out. JOHN PORTER chased the early pace while two-wide, then dropped back slightly, came five-wide into the stretch and was gaining late. WAR COUNCIL was allowed to settle while saving ground but lacked a rally. KIKO BOY was carried out on the first turn then raced in the back of the field and failed to threaten. DR TOMMY was carried wide on the first turn then was unhurried and failed to menace.
