Chart notes
KITTEN IN CHARGE was reserved off the pace while racing three-wide, rallied five-wide into the stretch, came in to bump with SIR ARGENTO nearing the eighth pole and was up in the final seventy yards. SIR ARGENTO tracked the pace racing along the inside, angled out to come three-wide into the stretch came out slightly nearing the eighth pole to bump with KITTEN IN CHARGE and finished strongly when clear in a good effort. I'M A DUDE TO dueled with HELA FOREVER for the lead from along the outside into the stretch and held on gamely during the drive. VERDI raced in the back of the field early, rallied two-wide into the stretch and gained his best stride too late. WHISKEYTHENWINE was prominently placed while racing three-wide, came four-wide into the stretch and weakened. HELA FOREVER dueled for the lead to the stretch from along the inside and tired. CAUSE FOR DIVORCE was unhurried early, came four-wide into the stretch but was not a factor. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE INCIDENT INVOLVING KITTEN IN CHARGE AND SIR ARGENTO BUT AFTER VIEWING THE FILMS RULED THERE WAS MUTUAL INTERFERENCE AND MADE NO CHANGE IN THE ORDER OF FINISH.
