PETERSON LANDING dropped back to trail the field into the first turn while racing just out from the rail, began to gain ground on the leaders midway down the backstretch, continued with a three wide bid through the final turn, and finished determinedly two out from the rail in the drive to get up in the closing strides. WEEKENDINDELMAR broke sharply and pressed the pace three wide entering the first turn, continued to force the issue two out from the rail in the run down the backside, battled from the outside of ISLAND LIVING for the lead through the final turn, assumed command entering the lane, and just failed to last. ISLAND LIVING away alertly and dueled for the lead two wide from between rivals entering the first turn, continued to battle between rivals into the backstretch, set a pressured pace from the inside of WEEKENDINDELMAR through the final turn, was unable to match strides with that rival entering the lane, and was outfinished late while proving clearly best of the rest. FEISTY ELLA settled off the contested early pace while saving ground along the inside entering the backstretch rallied two wide entering the final turn, but lacked the needed closing response when called upon in an even effort. I'M ALL SHOOK UP away well and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, set a pressured pace from along the inside of two rivals entering the backside, was unable to keep tabs on her pace rivals in the run to the final turn, and weakened over the final furlong.
