Chart notes
CLASSIC Q knocked heads past the stands and into the first turn with LAVENDER DISASTER to her outside before that rival eased off, showed the way settled into a comfortable rhythm just off the inside, remained patiently handled until set down spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under threat and held safe to the finish. PLAY WITH FIRE chased just off the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, angled four to five wide at the head of the stretch, offered up a mild kick to latch on the aforementioned foe as she hit the wire. LAVENDER DISASTER knocked heads with CLASSIC Q three then two wide into and to the midway point on the first turn before easing off to track just off the inside in closest aim of that rival, came under encouragement nearing the quarter pole and spun three wide at that station into upper stretch, dug in under a drive loosely between foes a furlong out, then weakened in the late stages. FIXIN TO BEE stumbled badly at the start pecking the ground and conceding four to five lengths to the front before settling into stride, saved ground at the tail of the field, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and was let out spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, made no late headway. MIDWAY MEMORIES coaxed from the gate, got bumped by LOVE AND POETRY into the first turn and stumbled into that bend just outside six and a half furlongs to run, chased two then three wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths, angled five wide at the top of the stretch, offered no response. LOVE AND POETRY tracked the pace along the inside, spun just off the inside into the first turn bumping MIDWAY MEMORIES which forced that rival to stumble, continued along the inside and came under urging with five-sixteenths remaining, tipped three wide into upper stretch, tired.
