Chart notes
LET'S BE FIRST cleared from the outer post getting to the rail for the lead at the five eighths pole, rambled on moving well up top with mild pressure in midturn, spurted away when nudged along in upper stretch and was kept the task to hold sway at the finish line. SULTRY SOPHIE had an inside trip in the second tier, crept closer on the rail following the winner around the bend, skimmed the fence in upper stretch in the thick of things, shifted out three wide with a furlong from home and was gaining gradually late but could not get to the winner in the late running. BRAZILIAN LEGACY bobbled and bumped the outside foe on the start, recouped to track outside down the backstretch, moved in to force the pace slightly in midturn, could not keep up to the winner while three wide in upper stretch but did dig in late to hold for the show money at the finish. SCARY BOO was bounced around between runners on the break, stalked between rivals along the backside, waited for the cue to move behind runners at the five sixteenths pole, angled out making a seam four wide at the top of the stretch and finished up willingly to almost get third outside at the wire. KOZY BABE broke in on the start, settled outside in the second flight watching the lead duo in the early stages, was roused between foes three wide at the quarter pole but offered little run, shifted out six wide for the drive to the wire and finished up one paced down the stretch. D'S KANDY had a stalking rail spot in the beginning, was shuffled back for a stride or two at the three-furlong marker inside rivals, saved ground turning for home but could not be a factor driving to the finish line. AMI'S CRY was bumped inside on the start, co-trailed on the outside at the half, closed the gap four wide around foes in the turn, swung out further in the eight path at the top of the lane but lacked a rally through the stretch. ALMASTY'S LUST was bumped inside on the break, stalked three deep outside foes ahead of a couple of runners at the half, made a brief rally three wide around the bend to be in the mix for a share at the quarter pole, angled out between runners on the seven path turning for home but failed to menace in the stretch run. SAKE AND SUSHI was reserved at the back of the pack in the beginning, had a brief spurt between runners at the three eighths pole, made little progression through the turn, shifted out in the four path in the stretch drive but came up empty down the lane.
