WORDS OF WISDOM settled mid-pack off the leaders near but off the inside having switched out a bit out of the chute, moved out further while advancing on the turn, came to the quarter pole five wide, struck the lead by mid-stretch, drove clear soon after, held sway under mild urging late. FURTHER EVIDENCE was encouraged early making an early advance up the backstretch outside four to five wide, was closer chasing four wide on the turn, floated out a bit for the drive, kept on late to get up for the place. STREET HUMOR was urged from the start, moved clear after three-sixteenths to set the pace from off the rail, extended the advantage a bit up the backstretch, was chased by outside foes now a bit closer on the turn, overtaken in mid-stretch and weakened late to lose second. MR FABRICATOR was urged forward between runners at the start but outsprinted for the early lead, switched out up the backstretch and took closer order between foes on the turn, was encouraged along about the five-sixteenths in range just off the leaders flank, weakened in the stretch. OUT RUN'M shifted in, raced about mid-pack near the inside, was one-paced and never close enough to threaten. LEVIATHAN AXE was in a bit tight early, took back and shifted in, settled toward the rear inside, moved out three furlongs from home, swung out eight wide coming into upper stretch, was not a threat. FRANZ lacked early speed dropping back from mid-pack to trail on the turn racing off the rail, was never near enough to threaten. CALZONE chased but from far off the pace racing outside five to seven wide, was not a factor.
