Chart notes
WON HAPPY MAMA sped to the lead at the start, set the uncontested pace up the backstretch, came under a ride approaching the quarter pole, came two to three wide into the upper stretch, came under left handed pressure, drifted out slightly, dug in under right handed encouragement and held gamely. JERSEY PEARL was away in good order, sat two wide just off the early leader, hustled up mid-way around the turn, came under right handed pressure turning for home, sustained a solid three wide bid and closed the gap on the tiring winner late. OEUVRE tracked the early leader sitting inside of JERSEY PEARL up the backstretch, came under a ride past the midway point around the turn, cut the corner entering the upper stretch, ran on down the lane along the inside and secured a share. BOURBON BREEZE raced off the early pace, coaxed two wide into the upper stretch and made up some ground. CHARLEE MAE dropped to last after the opening quarter, came two wide into the lane and had no response.
