Chart notes
CORNISHMAN was allowed to settle out of the gate and raced three wide into the first turn, stalked three to four wide up the backstretch, came under a ride around the final turn, advanced to challenged HEROIC MOVE for the lead at the head of the lane, continued to race in aim down the lane, dug in gamely under strong handling three wide and got up in final strides. HEROIC MOVE was forwardly placed around the first turn, vied outside of UNLOAD up the backstretch, continued to battle around the far turn, took on the challenge of CORNISHMAN in the upper stretch, held a slight advantage in the final sixteenth, fought on gamely and got edged late. GOULD'S GOLD raced up close along the inside around the first turn, settled and raced in range while saving ground, waited patiently for a clear path around the far turn, slipped through along the rail entering the head of the lane, advanced along the rail to race in striking distance but lacked a final kick to get by. JOKESTAR tracked the pace two wide up the backstretch, continued two paths wide late on the far turn, tipped wider for the drive, came under a ride and ran on for a minor share. UNLOAD led the way around the first turn, vied inside of HEROIC MOVE up the backstretch, continued to battle around the final turn then tired in the drive. RED ROUTE ONE raced in the back, swung three wide into the stretch and had no response.
