Chart notes
QUICKICK was allowed to settle out of the gate and saved ground around the first turn, remained settled in the back while saving ground up the backstretch, advanced five wide going by the quarter pole, came in a couple paths at the head of the lane and kicked in gamely, surged down the lane and got a nose up on the wire. SAYUCAN broke on top, cleared and angled in soon after the start, led the way around the first turn, set the pace up the backstretch, came under some mild handling and opened up around the far turn, saved ground entering the upper stretch, given cue, responded willingly, pulled away to a commanding lead, felt QUICKICK closing in, came under firm handling and got nipped on the wire. PARADISE CITY raced two wide around the first turn, rated near mid-range up the backstretch, hustled along three wide around the far turn, was no match for clear top pair pair but sustained a steady bid and secured a share. LEGAL EMPRESS raced off the early pace, saved ground along the rail around the far turn, cut the corner entering the head of the lane, got in tight quarters along the rail in the upper stretch, angled out and gained a minor share. YES MA'AM tracked the early pace, coaxed along the rail around the final turn, tipped two wide for the drive and failed to kick on. A THOUSAND MILES was forwardly placed around the first turn, and continued just off the leader up the backstretch, chased two wide around the far turn then gave way in the lane. NILO'S ROSE raced near midpack, coaxed four wide mid-way around the far turn and steadily faded in the lane. TWO BAR raced three to four wide entering the first turn, settled early then advanced to race just off midpack going by the half mild marker, failed to progress under pressure around the far turn and dropped back in the lane.
