Chart notes
RAGTIME lost her footing some at the start, moved in early then was rated just off the pace, ranged up while moving from the rail to the three path on the turn, made a bid inside the three-eighths pole, took the lead at the top of the stretch, shook clear under a right-handed crop nearing the furlong marker, was given one last pop of the crop while drawing away just before the sixteenth-pole then was eased up late while much the best. NEXT ON STAGE came outward at the start while going to the front, showed the way down the backstretch, went around the turn in the two path, was asked while being headed at the top of the stretch and proved no match for the winner while clear for the place. ALYESKA was rated under a tight hold, moved closer near the nine-sixteenths pole, was let out in the four path on the turn then asked, chased under a drive into upper stretch and weakened but was well clear for the show. ARTEMIS SOUND was hustled from the gate then well placed just off the pace, started the turn in the two to three path then shifted to the four path while roused, turned into the stretch in the five path while under a drive and came up empty. POINTS IS POINTS broke out and bobbled slightly then dropped back after the start, was hard held while becoming rank behind horses from outside the five-eighths pole into the turn, raced inside while let out near the seven-sixteenths pole, moved to the two path outside the five-sixteenths pole and capitulated. ADELIESE'S SMILE prompted the pace on the outside, came up empty in the three path early on the turn and retreated to the rear, spun into the stretch in the four path and faltered.
