Chart notes
NO TROUBLE settled well off the early pace, raced between runners into the far turn, was briefly paused near the three eighths, advanced three to four wide into the lane, shifted wider with momentum, surged past rivals from the outside with about seventy yards remaining and drew clear. MINTASTIC , in tight soon after the break, was angled to the inside soon after, gained towards the inside leaving the three eighths, angled out approaching the stretch, bid four wide outside embattled runners near mid stretch, came in bumping and tightening DEFENDING ALBERT, brushed with DOC HIGGINS battling on a slim lead with about a sixteenth to go then kept on gamely to the wire. DOC HIGGINS prompted the pace outside the leader, moved under a ride and drew alongside past the three eighths, battled on near even terms into the lane, brushed with MINTASTIC when fighting on near the sixteenth marker and stayed on well. MO SATURDAYS set the pace towards the inside, dug in when collared around the final turn, sparred inside runners clinging to a slim lead past mid stretch then gave way grudgingly. JUSTICE DEPARTMENT , three wide, moved up into the lane, steadied when blocked behind a wall of rivals near mid stretch, worked outward in deep stretch and churned on. TOUCH OF GLAM (ARG) steadied soon after the break, was taken well wide for the backstretch run, edged up into the far turn, circled six wide with an advance nearing the lane, chased outside runners into the lane then flattened out. GOLD PRIZE broke a step slow, saved ground, edged up under a ride nearing the five sixteenths, remained inside but came up empty. DEFENDING ALBERT , under a firm hold stalking, angled out near the five sixteenths, moved up three wide into the lane, took up when bumped by MINTASTIC near mid stretch and faded. GALACTIC CORE , wide, was not a factor. TITLE CONTENDER stalked the early pace three to four wide and weakened. Following a stewards' inquiry, MINTASTIC was disqualified from second and placed eighth for causing interference in the stretch.
