Chart notes
EL DIABLO ROJO broke a step slow, settled off the contested pace, advanced off the rail and to the inside of a rival mid turn, swung out six wide into the stretch, leveled off under right handed asking near mid stretch, kept on relentlessly outside foes, forged to command late and was edging away at the wire. LUV TO WIN ducked out at the break, corrected and was guided four wide and to the inside of a troubled rival into the turn, tracked the dueling leaders mid turn, bid four wide soon into the lane, took over with about a furlong remaining, maintained the advantage past the sixteenth marker, kept on gamely but could not deny the winner's outer charge. BRITERDAYZAHEAD rushed up soon after the break, bid between foes leaving the far turn to join the leader from the outside, dueled past the five sixteenths, exchanged a bump soon into the lane, fought on the inside of LUV TO WIN near the sixteenth pole and continued with effort to the wire. STAYED IN FOR HALF , bumped at the break, corrected and moved up along the rail to gain a short lead into the turn, sparred around the turn, bumped with a rival son into the stretch, stayed on past mid stretch then weakened late. SPEIGHTSVILLE , pinballed at the break, saved ground into the turn, eased out mid turn, chased four wide in upper stretch but came up empty. IMA BLING CAT , jostled and pinched back at the break, regrouped and raced well back into and around the turn, saved ground past the quarter pole, angled out through the drive and offered some late action. CANE CREEK ROAD , bumped and forced in by JOHN leaving the gate, recovered and edged up into the turn, tracked inside near the three eighths, shifted out and lacked a serious finish. PRAYFORPEACE , taken to rate early, came four wide for the drive but failed to rally. JOHN sped to the front, got out badly into the turn ceding to inner foes, continued to wander outward and faded.
