Chart notes
ONE NINE HUNDRED went to the front from the outside then showed the way with a clear advantage, moved in near the nine-sixteenths pole, extended the advantage in the two path on the turn, responded well when put to a strong hand-ride in upper stretch, came outward while put to a right-handed crop at the furlong marker, remained well clear under the crop into the final sixteenth and maintained a safe advantage to prevail under strong urging. AGGELOS THE GREAT hit the outside of the gate and broke a bit slow, dropped well behind the rest of the field while moving in under urging, saved ground on the turn, came off the rail outside the quarter-pole, swung out to the five path into the stretch and finished with good energy but was too late while clear for the place. ANTONIO OF VENICE stumbled at the start but broke with the field, was urged early then well placed just off the pace, saved ground while asked on the turn, moved off the rail late on that bend, came outwards under a drive in upper stretch and lacked the needed kick while clear for the show. GUN IT was hustled from the gate then chased the pace, moved out near the nine-sixteenths pole, went around the turn in the three path, spun into the stretch in the four path, dropped back while remaining on his inside lead in the drive and tired. KUNSHAN BRIDGE was urged along off the pace, traveled around the turn in the four path, dropped to the three path under a drive into the stretch and came up empty.
