Chart notes
TEXENSIS had an ideal spot, all alone rating kindly while watching the lone speed take off along the backside, crept closer when nudged on by midturn, closed in smartly three wide in upper stretch, drove on by the fading frontrunner at the furlong pole and held safe for the win at the wire. HATRIXIE MOMENT travelled outside in the middle of the pack down the backstretch, was urged at the three furlong marker beginning to narrow the margin by the quarter pole, shifted out four wide at the top of the lane and found her best stride late to close in just getting the nod for the runners up share all the while making it close on the winner at the finish line as well. HER OBSESSION was unhurried trailing the group along the backside, saved ground throughout the turn starting to get into gear at the quarter pole, mounted a good rally on the fence in upper stretch, came charging inside runners late and almost got up for the place share at the wire. ONE MORE DOLL had an inside position sitting in midfield in the early stages, was roused inside another rival at the three eighths marker inching up the rail around the oval, angled outside to the two path for the stretch run, could only finish up one paced down the lane but did pass the tiring early speed horse in the final seventy yards to settle on the fringes. SONGS OF WAR was loose up top spreading out the field under a hold, continued to rattle on setting a brisk pace through the turn, still had the advantage but is was quickly dwindling at the top of the lane, had nothing left by mid-stretch and folded at the furlong marker. HIDDEN IMAGE had a stalking position ahead of one rival along the back straight, made little movement just off the rail around the bend, shifted out three wide for the drive but could not reach contention in the stretch running.
